TIRUPATI: The joy of the 5,431 families whose properties got mired up in the prohibited 22 (A) category for several decades, knew no bounds, when they were finally granted ownership rights over their properties besides paving the way for registration of such properties whose owners wished to sell them off.
Properties in an extent of 636.38 acres spread across Thambuvanigunta, Korlagunta, Erukulagunta, Navodaya colony, Tataiahgunta etc. went into the 22(A) category, which led to a prohibition on registrations.
