Regional newspapers get financial lifeline

Regional and rural newspapers will be handed a financial lifeline amid surging print costs which has threatened the industry's viability.

ACM can reveal the Albanese government in the next week will make available $15 million in grants to regional and rural newspaper companies to help them deal with the hike in print costs.
