The Seattle Seahawks rebounded from an uneven Week 1 with a gutsy overtime win on the road in Week 2 … but was there a little bit of help from the zebras?
Fans flocked to Twitter after Geno Smith threw a six-yard pass in OT to Tyler Lockett for the game-winning touchdown, but a replay showed Detroit Lions stud pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson being held pretty blatantly by Jake Curhan as Hutchinson tried to get to Smith.
While it initially felt hard to tell if Hutchinson embellished a little bit there, it still looked very much like holding and should have been whistled as such. Instead, the Lions lost in overtime:

Should this have been called holding against Seattle on their game-winning play? pic.twitter.com/n4zZe2kup6

Tell me if you’ve heard this before.
The @Lions got screwed by the refs.
My dude literally hugging Hutchinson, great game by the Lions. pic.twitter.com/HIKVWRG2WG
