Reform’s Laila Cunningham has slapped down suggestions that she cannot win the London mayoral election as her party faces a police investigation over its funding.

The former Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) prosecutor pointed to a recent Standard poll that showed Reform on 20 per cent in the contest to replace Lord Sadiq Khan as Mayor of London, behind Labour on 33 per cent.
