Reform UK would “get the auditors in” if elected to run local councils to look at how much money is being spent on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies and ergonomic chairs, Nigel Farage has said.

At a campaign event in County Durham ahead of local elections on May 1, Mr Farage said Reform UK are “parking their tanks on the lawns of the red wall”.
