- Corey Edwards, a Reform UK candidate for the Welsh Parliament election, has stood down after photos of him appearing to make a Nazi salute emerged online.
- The images, reportedly taken several years ago, showed Mr Edwards with one hand raised in a Nazi salute and the other imitating Adolf Hitler's moustache.
- Reform UK Wales announced that Mr Edwards cited mental health issues as his reason for stepping down from his candidacy for Pen-y-bont Bro Morgannwg.
- Mr Edwards issued an apology, stating the photo was old and could be misinterpreted, claiming he was imitating a Welsh footballer or Basil Fawlty.
- The incident follows another recent suspension of a Reform candidate, Chris Parry, who made controversial remarks about a Jewish neighbourhood watch group.
