The Queensland Reds have secured second spot on the Super W ladder and a home semi-final after Eva Karpani scored a hat-trick in a crushing 47-10 win over the Western Force.

Both sides entered Sunday's match at Ballymore knowing the winner would secure second spot and the loser would finish fourth.
