Reddit was momentarily down, with users reporting that the popular website experienced issues. Reports on Down Detector spiked at 3:01 pm ET, and some on Tom's Guide (myself included) can't even load the page.
Reddit never acknowledged the outage on its status page, and it now seems the worst is behind us. We'll update this page if the situation changes, but for now, it seems it's business as usual for Reddit.
Reddit is down — live outage updates
Reddit is down

As of 3:01 pm ET, users are reporting that Reddit is down. When members of Tom's Guide tried to long in, we got the error message you see above. Stay tuned for further updates as we monitor this situation.
We might be back

Though Down Detector is still showing a huge spike of reports as of 3:10 pm ET, I'm currently able to navigate Reddit, which I wasn't able to just 10 minutes prior. I'm going to keep monitoring the situation. Hopefully, this was just a momentary blip and not something larger.
Trending in the right direction

As of 3:24 pm ET, reports dropped from 24441 to 9965. Hopefully, this will continue so you can all go back to showing off your photos or arguing about DLSS 5 on Reddit.
Reddit has been resurrected

As of 3:35 pm ET, Reddit is back to normal operation, as reports have plummeted to 233, which is a step decline from where things stood just 20 minutes prior. We'll update this page in case Reddit goes down again, but for now, things seem to have returned to normal.
