Red Star boss Dejan Stankovic feels his side "deserve" their trip to face Rangers on Thursday, as he revealed his stars will be well rested for the tie.
The Serbian giants have been drawn against Gio van Bronckhorst's side in the Europa League, with an impressive atmosphere guaranteed at both legs.
A packed out Ibrox will welcome Red Star for the first meeting before Rangers travel to the notorious Marakana.
Stankovic's men warmed up by thrashing Novi Pazar 5-0, and the former Inter star feels preparation couldn't have gone better.
He said: "We had a great approach, we blew them away in the opening minutes and even managed to rest a few.
"The kind of European game that Red Star deserves is waiting for us against Rangers on Thursday. We hope everyone will enjoy it."
And Stankovic's opposite number was in no doubt that his side were well beaten on the day.
Novi Pazar boss Tomislav Sivic confessed: "This result will clearly affect the players before the much more important matches we have coming up.
"The first half hour was crucial, we conceded four goals in 30 minutes. We were tight and nervous and couldn't recover from that.
"Congratulations to Red Star, a deserved victory."
