Dejan Stankovic admits his team are already feeling the pressure to beat Rangers.
The Serbian side will face off with the Premiership champions in the Europa League after they won their group and earned a bye to the round of 16.
Rangers had no such luxury and had to eliminate Dortmund to get this far. They will feel the draw could have been worse but Red Star will be no pushovers.
They'll travel to Serbia for the second leg in the Marakana stadium and former Inter and Lazio star Stankovic accepts that their fans will expect nothing less than a famous victory in Belgrade.
He said: "Ever since I arrived as manager at this club two years ago, there has always been pressure.
"There is pressure to win every game we play and there will be extra pressure to win against Rangers.
"We have a huge motivation to win. We are ready as a team and we are ready for the challenge.
"Everyone here expects us to win convincingly no matter who we play.
"I know how it works here. If you don't win a game it's the end of the world! There's been a lot of do-or-die games since I've been here so I know what to expect.
"Every one of our fans knows how to support the team and I expect them to turn up in big numbers. They will help us enormously."
