Recycling facility fire brought under control but structure ‘severely damaged’

A fire involving 50 tonnes of household waste at a recycling facility in south-east London has been brought under control.

Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters responded to the blaze on Landmann Way, in Deptford, on Tuesday night, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
