A couple who scooped the biggest ever win on the Euromillions - a cool £184 million - have decided to go public. Camelot has revealed the lucky pair are from Gloucestershire and bought the winning ticket in the draw on May 10.
Some might decide to stay anonymous, but the couple who made the record-breaking win are to be interviewed tomorrow, Thursday May 19, about their good fortune. They might reveal how they chose the lucky numbers and what they might be spending all that loot on.
A Camelot spokesperson said: “They share some of their plans for the win and how it will transform the lives of their whole family.” The lucky couple won the incredible EuroMillions jackpot of £184,262,899.10 last week.

Previously the UK’s biggest ever winner landed £170 million - but decided to remain anonymous. Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said, “This is absolutely incredible news! Last night saw history made with the biggest ever National Lottery prize won by a single UK ticket-holder, and we’re ecstatic that we’ve now received a claim.
“Our focus now is on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing and record-breaking win.”
In February a UK Euromillions ticket got a £109 million jackpot. Frances and Patrick Connolly were the previous biggest winners to go public after scooping £115m in the EuroMillions in 2019. The generous pair have since given away more than £60 million.
In 2021, five UK ticket-holders banked an incredible EuroMillions jackpot win including one who bagged an amazing £122.5million jackpot prize in April and another who won a £111million jackpot in June.
