'Reckless' water plan sparks landmark legal challenge

A "reckless" plan to increase water extraction in a popular tourist area has come under fire, sparking a landmark court challenge.

An environment group is taking legal action against the Northern Territory government's Mataranka water allocation plan, saying it will be harmful to significant tourist and cultural sites.
