Shocking footage of Edinburgh yobs driving recklessly along the Royal Mile has emerged on social media.
The footage of the dangerous stunts were posted to TikTok late on Saturday, August 20. The clip showed the yob driving recklessly and pulling stunts along the busy city centre street.
In the video, the hoodie clad driver can be seen speeding along the cobblestone streets at the bottom of the Royal Mile. As he drives, he begins to pull wheelies, clambering over to one side of the motorbike.

The driver then goes on to clamber on top of the moving vehicle as he continues to pull off a wheelie. Crouching on the crossbar of the bike as it continues towards the junction with South Bridge.
This comes as Edinburgh continues to see a dramatic rise in motorbike thefts and videos of locals pulling dangerous stunts across the city. In June, shocking pictures emerged of a driver carrying a small child on the front of an off-road bike while driving at dangerous speeds in Sighthill Park.
More recently, footage posted to social media site Snapchat on August 18 showed an Edinburgh biker driving on the wrong lane, weaving through traffic and also pulling wheelies. The recent rise in these crimes comes as Edinburgh Police have recently launched Operation Soteria to try and crack down on motorbike related crimes throughout the capital.
