The G League’s OKC Blue picked up a lopsided 128-105 win over the Mexico City Capitanes on Sunday. The home win improves the Blue’s record to 4-9 on the season.
The Blue built a 26-22 lead following the first quarter. A 30-point second frame expanded that to a 56-46 halftime lead for OKC.
The final result quickly became clear with a 39-point third quarter by the Blue. This helped OKC enter the final frame holding a 95-73 lead over Mexico City and turning the fourth quarter into garbage time.
The Blue shot 56% from the field and went 14-of-28 (50%) from 3. They dished out 31 assists on 50 baskets. Seven players scored double-digit points.
Meanwhile, the Capitanes shot 44% from the field and went 11-of-29 (37.9%) from 3. They only had four players score double-digit points.

- Ousmane Dieng: 14 points on 7-of-12 shooting, six assists, three rebounds
- Hunter Maldonado: 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, six assists, three rebounds
- Adam Flagler: 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting, 5-of-7 from 3, four rebounds, three assists
- Justin Wright-Foreman: 28 points on 10-of-23 shooting, 6-of-8 from 3, four assists
- Iverson Molinar: 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting, four rebounds, three assists
- Kenneth Faried: 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting, nine rebounds, two blocks
