Recall on Kinder products amid salmonella concerns

There has been a recall on imported Kinder products following a salmonella outbreak related to their sweet treats. An investigation from the Food Standard Agency (FSA) has found that products intended for the European Market only had been imported into the UK.

Chocolate firm Ferrero who make the sweets were not involved in the imports and had already issued a recall for the products in Europe. Last month, the company extended their recall on a selection of Kinder products in the UK that were made at the Arlon factory in Belgium due to salmonella fears.
