Rebel Wilson gave an insight into her lavish baby shower just hours after revealing that she had secretly welcomed her first child via surrogate.
The Australian actress, 42, shocked fans with the news on Monday (November 7), as she shared a first look at her adorable newborn daughter, whom she has named Royce Lillian.
Now, the Bridesmaids star has posted pictures from her baby shower, which was co-hosted by her fashion designer girlfriend, Ramona Agruma.
In the snaps, the proud new mum can be seen sporting a pink Valentino dress and silver heels as she tucked into tasty-looking treats with Agruma and five friends, with a fancy house decked out with balloons as the backdrop.
In another image, Wilson poses next to balloon-filled boxes that spell out “baby” while holding on to a bunch of balloons.
While a third sees her happily embracing Agruma, who is wearing a frilly white dress and light-blue designer bag.
“Congrats @rebelwilson loved showering you and Baby Royce,” actress Carly Steel captioned a cute group shot, which showed them all sitting down next to a large teddy bear.
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate,” the Bridesmaids star captioned her post.
Opening up about her latest role, Wilson described her child as a “beautiful miracle”, writing; “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!
“I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.”
Wilson continued: “Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!
“I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly… much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club.”
