Rebel Wilson has told her fans in an inspiring message "You are more than just your weight" after she put on 3kg while on holiday at an all-inclusive resort.
The Pitch Perfect actress, 42, shared a snap on Instagram of herself looking relaxed in a swimsuit and surrounded by gorgeous scenery, urging fans in a candid caption underneath not to "be so hard on yourself" after indulging.
Rebel documented her weight loss over the last two years, as she shed six stone, thanks to following a high protein diet and going on long walks.
In the Instagram post Rebel said she had gained weight while on holiday, but knows she could go back to her new habits when she's ready.
The star wrote: "I just noticed I put on 3 kg’s on my holiday," followed by an emoji of a monkey covering it's face.
She went on: "I’m at an amazing all-inclusive resort…I’ve lost all self control," finishing the sentence with a sticking out tongue emogi.
"But you know what? I can get up tomorrow and go to the gym, and hydrate and eat healthy and love myself. It doesn’t help to be hard on yourself but I know what it’s like to feel guilty and not great after eating too much.
"But if you’re like me just know YOU are more than just your weight, your weight doesn’t define you, just try your best to be healthy and don’t be so hard on yourself."
The Senior Year actress finished the post with the message "Be the best version of you", with love heart emojis at either end.
In the accompanying photo, Rebel wears a red swimsuit and a white sarong as well as sunglasses, with her blonder tresses tied up, as she stands in front of crystal clear water.
Rebel has been sharing a bevvy of pictures from her holiday in Turkey and trips to Corsica, Italy and Iceland.
In one photo she holds hands with her girlfriend Ramona Agruma, during their Italian break.
Rebel beamed from ear-to-ear while wearing a stunning yellow maxi dress, while jewellery designer Ramona cut a sophisticated figure in a black Prada suit with white piping.
The couple looked happier than ever, with Rebel captioning the shot: "ciao bellas".
In May, Rebel admitted her desire to become a mum spurred on her weight loss.
After she paid a visit to her fertility doctor in 2019, the actress was left disappointed when he said that she would have a much better chance of harvesting and freezing her eggs if she lost weight.
Rebel told PEOPLE: "He looked me up and down and said, 'You'd do much better if you were healthier.
"I was taken aback. I thought, 'Oh God, this's guy's so rude.' He was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight. It's almost like I didn't think of my own needs. I thought of a future child's needs that really inspired me to get healthier," she added.
