Hollywood star Rebel Wilson has come out as being in a same-sex relationship in a heartwarming post shared with her legion of social media followers.
The Australian actress and comedian posted a sweet snap of her cuddling up to girlfriend Ramona Agruma on Instagram. The pair were all smiles in the photo, with 42-year-old Rebel writing an emotional message to her 11 million fans.
“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince,” the star said. “But maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove”.

Famous friends of the Pitch Perfect star rushed to congratulate her on the announcement, which racked up almost half a million likes on Instagram within the first few hours. Actress Arielle Kebbel wrote: “So happy for you both!”
“Love you so much,” added Love Island star Montana Rose Brown. “Lovely people you are.”
Presenter Carly Steel commented: “Gorgeous couple & dynamic duo. Love you guys.”
“Love you both like crazy,” wrote Rebel’s Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Kendrick, while Killing Eve star Jodie Comer added a series of hearts and said she had “so much love” for the pair.
Elsewhere in the comments section fans have already dubbed Rebel and Ramona a “power couple”, calling the star an “icon” for coming out during Pride Month.
Ramona is a fashion designer and entrepreneur who founded sustainable clothing company Lemon Ve Limon, as well as being a brand ambassador for Bee Goddess Jewellery, The Mirror reports . While it’s not known how long the pair have been together, Rebel split from ex-boyfriend Jacob Busch in February last year.
The star teased her new romance in an interview with People magazine just last month, although remaining tight-lipped about Ramona’s identity at the time. Rebel revealed that the pair “spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting”.
“That was a really good way to get to know each other,” she said. “It was a bit old-school in that sense - very romantic.”
Rebel also revealed to the U Up? Podcast that the relationship blossomed after she was set up with Ramona by a mutual friend. “He had known both of us for at least five years and he thought we would hit it off - and then we did!” she told the hosts.
