Rebekah Vardy ’s father claimed she will never speak to Coleen Rooney again over their explosive “Wagatha Christie” court feud.
And he revealed his daughter is “relieved’ her libel battle will soon be wrapped up.
Becky, wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, accuses Wayne Rooney ’s spouse, 35, of defamation after she made explosive claims about the leaking of “false” stories.
Coleen, dubbed Wagatha Christie for her detective work, accused Becky, 40, of giving stories about her to a national paper.
But Coleen’s legal team said it appears Becky too now believes her agent was the source in a dramatic development.
Rooney’s legal team stated in documents submitted to the High Court last week that the Vardy case had “collapsed” after an “abrupt change of position”.
The full hearing is due to start on Monday and last seven days. Becky’s dad Carlos Miranda said: “She is relieved. I’m supportive and protective of her.”
As for Coleen, he added: “I don’t think Becky will be talking to her.”
Carlos, from New Milton, Hants, admitted the accusations against his daughter have taken their toll.
Becky, on Father’s Day last June, posted: “Dad, thank you for giving me my strength to never give up.”
