Rebekah Vardy 'regrets' comparing Peter Andre's penis to ‘chipolata’ in latest Wagatha Christie update

Rebekah Vardy regrets comparing Peter Andre's penis to a chipolata sausage after being grilled in the Wagatha Christie trial.

In October 2019, Coleen Rooney accused fellow WAG Vardy of leaking "false stories" about her private life to the media, after she said she carried out a months-long "sting operation".

The two WAGs arrived at London's High Court for the first day of their libel trial on Tuesday, after Vardy sought legal action from her former friend's allegations.

As the trial got underway, Vardy repeatedly denied leaking information to newspapers in the first few minutes of her cross-examination by Rooney’s barrister David Sherborne.

Mr Sherborne quickly moved on and grilled the WAG about an interview she gave to the News Of The World, where she reportedly detailed an alleged sexual encounter with the Mysterious Girl singer.

Mr Sherborne showed what appeared to be an A3 print out of the article to Vardy in the witness box, before reading the headline: ‘Peter’s hung like a small chipolata, shaved, slobbery, lasts five minutes.’

The barrister read excerpts from the article, where it was claimed Andre had managed "just five minutes of sex with Rebekah" and in which Vardy said he had "the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen" that was like a "miniature chipolata".

In the article, Vardy said said he "made no attempt to satisfy me" and "drooled like a slobbery dog" when he kissed her.

Referencing the article in court, Mr Sherborne asked: "Did you think it was respectful of Mr Andre's desire not for this to be made public for you to say all this to the News Of The World and 4million readers?"

Vardy then said she was "forced into a situation" by her ex-husband.

She said: "This is something I deeply regret and something that is very much part of my past.

"It is not nice to read. But I was in a terrible, terrible relationship. The consequences of not doing something were far worse than doing it. It is horrible.''

Asked if she felt she needed to discuss the size of Andre's manhood, Vardy replied: "It was something I was forced to say.''

She confirmed that she did not ask Andre for his permission or tell him it was going to happen in advance.

In 2020, Vardy apologised for making these remarks to the newspaper.

A court document filed at the time stated: "It is admitted that the Claimant gave a “kiss and tell” interview to The News of the World in 2004 when the Claimant was 22.

"The Claimant regrets having given this interview and has apologised to Mr Andre.

"The Claimant was in a difficult relationship with her ex-husband and felt pressurised by her ex-husband to give this story to the newspaper."

Vardy is expected to continue to give evidence tomorrow.
