Rebecca King-Crews was supported by her husband, Terry Crews, as she announced her Parkinson's diagnosis.
The singer and fashion designer, 60, told the Today show on Monday (6 April) that she had been diagnosed in 2015 but was revealing it publicly now to raise awareness of a new treatment she says has helped to manage her symptoms.
"I’m able to write with my right hand for the first time in probably three years," she told the programme.
Explaining that her symptoms were initially dismissed as anxiety, King-Crews said it took three years before a Parkinson's specialist recognized her condition.
