A West Lothian local hero will take on four back to back races at the Edinburgh Marathon this weekend.
Known as the 'hairy', the challenge will see Paul Brown ,42, from Armadale take part in the 5k and 10k run on Saturday and the half marathon followed by the full marathon this Sunday.
He is taking on the exhausting event to raise funds for Held in our Hearts - an Edinburgh and Lothians neonatal charity, formerly known as Sands Lothian.

The charity has supported thousands of families from Edinburgh and the Lothians who have tragically lost a baby over the last forty years.
The avid runner has taken on all sorts of fitness challenges over the last six years, raising thousands of pounds for the charity and similar local charities that help kids in the community.
The ex-policeman was moved after meeting a family from West Lothian who were supported by the bereavement charity years ago and has taken on a charity to challenge every year to raise funds since.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, the 42-year-old said: "I've been running for years, the last ten years I've been doing different challenges every year and raised over £10,000 for Held in Our Hearts.
"I've run quite a few marathons before so in order to get people to sponsor me I'm doing a little bit extra this year and taking on all four runs in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival this weekend."
Paul loves running and has kept fit since his days as a police officer, and loves to do his bit for the community.
The Armadale local has found a way to combine his hobby with his selfless passion for helping others by taking on charity running challenges every year.
He continued: "I started working with Held in our Hearts six years ago, I had done a challenge taking on seven marathons in seven days and was raising money for two West Lothian boys with muscular dystrophy.
"Their mum had mentioned, her sister lost a baby and was supported by the charity throughout the heart wrenching time and suggested I choose them."

Paul reached out and took on his first challenge for the bereavement charity six years ago and has raised thousands of pounds since then.
The 42-year-old has learned more about the charity over the last couple of years and has been able to see the incredible work they do.
Paul said: "I've found out about what work they do, got to know a lot of people involved and just continued to raise money for them, its such a warm and friendly organisation that does such important work."
