West Ham United manager David Moyes has questioned VAR for a second consecutive match following the Hammers’ 4-3 loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
In a seven-goal lunchtime thriller at Selhurst Park that saw West Ham lose for the second time in three days, Palace got their fourth goal of the game midway through the second half via a Eberechi Eze penalty, after the former Queens Park Rangers man went down in the penalty area despite very little contact from Nayef Aguerd in the incident.
Referee Craig Pawson opted to give a penalty despite a VAR check, with the referee not having a look at his pitchside monitor before awarding the spot-kick.

It comes just three days after West Ham thought they should have had a penalty late on in their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool when Danny Ings was tackled by the hand of Thiago. Again, it did not go to an on-pitch VAR check.
Speaking on the incident, Moyes said that his comments from earlier this week on VAR were correct and was confused as to why no check was made.
“Well maybe, the words I said in midweek were correct,” said Moyes.
“The thing they really pride themselves on is not giving away soft penalty kicks in the Premier League this year and today, I think today would go down as a very soft penalty kick.
"I don’t really know what they do. I don’t know what VAR’s situation is, I don’t know when they do come in and when they don’t come in, I’m not sure.”
