Celtic fan group The Green Brigade have announced a large tifo for the Champions League tie with Real Madrid.
The Hoops welcome the European champions to Parkhead for their European group stage opener and their vocal supporting section have called for help to create the noise their home ground is well known for. Ange Postecoglou's Celtic team will need all the support they can if they are to replicate a victory over Real Madrid 42 years ago, and they believe that partly comes from the stands.
A Green Brigade statement reads: "Real Madrid suffered defeat on their last visit to Celtic Park 42 years ago. To emulate that famous night will require a united effort from the stands and pitch. The support has a duty to reignite the once-feared Celtic Park fortress and make our home hostile and intimidating for the visitors. We must rally behind our team and remain with them, demonstrating patience and encouragement at all times.

"To help set the tone, a tifo has been prepared for the entire North Curve, covering both tiers. We ask that all fans in this area use the material found at your seat when the teams emerge from the tunnel.
"Use these up until the Huddle. As ever, we thank the support for your continued backing."
It won't be the first large-scale tifo at Celtic Park this season, having unveiled large demonstrations against Aberdeen and Rangers on Premiership business.
