Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring developments with Manchester United transfer target Harry Kane as they consider bolstering their strike force this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos have discussed the prospect of making a move for the Tottenham Hotspur and England frontman. It adds that Madrid believe Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy would prefer to sell Kane abroad if he is to leave the London outfit in the summer. The La Liga side could also agree a pre-contract next January to sign him for free if the 29-year-old refuses to extend his current deal with Antonio Conte's side.
MEN Sport understands that Kane is Erik ten Hag's prime striker target to reinforce the United attack, with sources saying the Reds boss is intent on signing the forward. Realistically, the Reds are the only Premier League club he could join in the summer.

Bayern Munich are expected to be in the market for a striker and are another realistic option for Kane should he choose to move abroad.
Elsewhere, United are reportedly interested in offering centre-back Victor Lindelof in a swap deal for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Football Insider, Ten Hag is a 'massive fan' of his fellow countryman and would like to add him to his squad at Old Trafford. The Inter ace has often been linked with a move to the Reds in recent years, but a move has never materialised.
Meanwhile, the Serie A outfit have been touted as a potential destination for Lindelof in recent weeks, with Inter thought to be on the hunt for a new centre-half. Milan Skriniar is leaving the club to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The report claims that a swap deal involving Lindelof and Dumfries is a 'real possibility' and could be the 'deal to watch' for United supporters in the coming months. The Sweden international has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford this season and has managed just five starts in the Premier League.
