Real Madrid have confirmed Kylian Mbappe will officially be presented as their player on Tuesday July 16, 2024.
The striker revealed he would go on holiday after France’s exit to Spain at Euro 2024, having described his campaign in Germany as a “failure”.
He will, however, be unveiled as a Madrid player next week and will appear alongside club president Florentino Perez to speak to the media.
After years of speculation, Los Blancos officially confirmed they had signed the 25-year-old two days after they won their 15th Champions League against Borussia Dortmund in June.
The club have confirmed the 2018 World Cup winner will wear the No.9 shirt, previously occupied by the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazilian great, Ronaldo.
“Real Madrid CF announces that next Tuesday, July 16, at 12:00 p.m., the presentation of our player Kylian Mbappé will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium,” read a club statement.
“Previously, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will welcome Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid City for the signing ceremony that will bind our new player to the club for the next five seasons.
“After the presentation, Kylian Mbappé will speak to the media in the press room at the Santiago Bernabéu.”
