SEATTLE - For the first time since 2020, two of the four teams left standing in the UEFA Champions League semifinals come from Germany. After a disappointing season at the domestic level, Bayern Munich has somehow sealed a place in another European Cup semifinal thanks to a goal from Joshua Kimmich.
The last tie of the quarterfinal round was decided in penalties, as Real Madrid and Manchester City couldn't be separated at the end of the second leg. "Los Blancos" suffered all game but came out on top in the penalty shootout, winning 4-3.
