Real-life 'snake man' sheds skin weekly due to rare life-threatening condition

A 25-year-old whose skin condition causes him to shed his skin every few days has told of his ordeal which led to him being dubbed "snake man" by his peers in India.

Majibar Rehman Malik, 25, suffers from a rare condition called erythroderma, a severe and potentially life-threatening inflammation of the skin.

The condition is often characterised by red, flaky skin, and is also known as ‘red man’ syndrome.
