Real Housewives of Potomac's Ashley Darby has confirmed she is getting a divorce from her husband Michael after admitting they were no longer "sexually compatible".
The couple tied the knot back in May 2014 and share two children together - Dean Michael and Dylan Matthew. Ashley has said she wanted monogamy after having kids and revealed it has caused her to "drift apart" from Michael.
The reality star opened up about the breakdown of her marriage while having a picnic with friends Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon in the latest episode of RHOP.
Gizelle voiced her concern for her friend after hearing about the split, with Ashley revealing the news to the other members of the group.
Karen asked Ashley how her marriage broke down after welcoming her youngest son just last year.
Ashley replied: "I don't drink," before admitting there were other reasons and saying she didn't believe her and Michael were "sexually as compatible anymore".
The TV personality explained: "We had a little incident in Miami where there was a lady who was very interested in me. Michael was interested in that situation and I didn't want that."
Ashley had then told her husband she wanted monogamy, but said this caused them to start "drifting apart".
The star then confused her friends by adding: "He's being very caring. I really want a house," and explaining they were looking to buy one together."
Karen said: "This ain't no divorce."
In a confessional, Ashley admitted: "I think that I'll have a more amicable divorce because it was something that happened gradually over time.
"But certainly, as it starts to become more real for him, Michael could, uh, become more vengeful. Ugh... I don't wanna talk that into existence, but there is a possibility for that."
Ashley and Michael announced their separation back in April.
On Instagram, Ashley wrote: "Almost eight years ago, when Michael and I said ‘I do,’ we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward.
"Unfortunately, that is not our current reality. We have decided to separate. We are aware that there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision.
"People will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences.
"Pieces of all these may have affected our pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways."
She added that they were at different stages in their lives and had different goals for the future.
