There has been enquiries from other sides in both England and the continent however the Gunners may be nearing a potential move for the player now before the window closes. Belgian football journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported that a first bid had already been made but that a second is expected.
Tavolieri tweeted: "Youri #Tielemans stay in #Arsenal’s target lists, ready to make a second bid next week for #LCFC midfielder. As announced yesterday, #Arteta valid the profile & next week will be decisive. More options for #AFC board: Sandro #Tonali, Moises #Caicedo. Info x@AbdellahBoulma."
Fabrizio Romano however claims that no bid has yet been made but that the player remains one to watch between now and the end of the window. Adding that Leicester are expecting late proposals for the player.
Romano told Caught Offside: “I expect Tielemans is one to watch until the end of the market. Leicester know that proposals could come, and Arsenal have been interested since May but have never made an official offer.
In short, there has been little change on the topic of Tielemans despite all the noise surrounding the transfer. These next couple of weeks will of course bring us the answer, mercifully so.
