Heaps of praise for a Lanarkshire band's first two singles has inspired them to jump straight into releasing their third.
It wasn't too long ago that song writing pair Brian Clover and Billy Smith, now known as 'Chains of Gold', were driven into depression due to an ongoing copyright battle with The Weeknd.
But in April they bounced straight back with their act's debut release, and its response ever since has "uplifted" them in their musical journey.
The success led them to meetings with top record labels before Alan McGee, the man responsible for discovering Oasis, said he wanted to see the local band live.
The duo who produce their music in Billy's home studio in Hamilton, have now decided to harness some summer vibes and their latest track titled Summer Lovin is already proving popular with their fanbase and beyond.
Brian told Lanarkshire Live : "The release of our debut double A sided single VIP/Loved Up Generation, we were taken a back by the level of uplifting feedback we received.
"VIP gained a serious amount of radio airplay in the USA and is still going strong.
"I met with Jay Z Roc Nation Record label head of A and R Omar Grant at Shoreditch House in London, then Alan McGee said he would would like to see us perform live.
"Many have said our debut single was like a social commentary which amused us by we kind of see what they mean.
"We were set to release a song called Gangland Generation but decided to write, record and produce a summer pop song within a week. We are pop songwriters and wanted to demonstrate that."
Brian added: "Summer Lovin was recorded in Hamilton but we feel has a universal feel, it's semi-bio and then influenced by our love of American Rap , Hip Hop, Pop and R n B."
The band say their latest release also aims to engage with the Scottish audience, as they continue to make a name for themselves.
And as they continue to do this, they can hopefully put their row with The Weeknd to bed in the future.
"The Weeknd case does us no favours at all , if anything it works against us and the industry may see us as trouble makers. But that's so far from the truth", Brian explained.
"Hopefully Summer Lovin will catch the imagination of the Scottish people, we both have amazing memories of sunny days in Glasgow, sitting in the parks playing our guitars."
He added: "Life is good today, day at a time life gets better. We both have very positive attitudes and believe that everything happens for a reason. Todays a great day."
