Did the Milwaukee Bucks get better with their offseason team building moves so far? Did the Boston Celtics get worse after trading away veteran point guard Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies in a three-team deal for former Washington Wizards big man Kristaps Porzingis?

Judging by some of the most recent NBA power rankings out there that have the Bucks ahead of the Celtics for the 2023-24 campaign to come, at least some league analysts are thinking that this might be the case next season. But for the eponymous hosts of the CLNS Media “Bob Ryan, Jeff Goodman, and Gary Tanguay” podcast, such an assessment did not quite sit right.
