Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to face each other in a high-voltage IPL 2026 Qualifier 1 match at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday.
Both teams finished the league stage with the same number of points and were only separated by net run rate, setting up a closely contested encounter. The winner will move straight into the IPL 2026 final, while the losing side will get another opportunity in Qualifier 2. In recent seasons, both RCB and GT have been among the most consistent performers, reaching the playoffs four times in the last five years. Despite their strong IPL history, this will be the first time the two teams meet in a playoff match. Their overall head-to-head record has also been evenly balanced so far.
