NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru seemed to falter midway through the chase, but a blazing half-century from captain Faf du Plessis provided the momentum needed to secure a four-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in their IPL match on Saturday.
Du Plessis (64 off 23 balls, 10 fours, 3 sixes) and Virat Kohli (42 off 27 balls, 2 fours, 4 sixes) showcased their prowess as they put up 92 runs in just 35 balls for the opening wicket, guiding Royal Challengers past a modest target of 148 despite a few tense moments, mostly self-inflicted.
