RB Leipzig have reportedly slapped a huge price tag on Christopher Nkunku as they look to ward off interest from Manchester United and others.
Nkunku has been touted for a move away from Leipzig this summer after an outstanding season in Germany. The French international scored 35 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions, and beat Robert Lewandowski to the Bundesliga’s player of the year award.
United are among the sides to have been regularly linked with the 24-year-old. Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have also been suggested as retaining an interest in the player they let go at academy level.

But, according to The Independent, Leipzig will demand at least £100million for anyone looking to secure Nkunku’s services this summer. The German side have consistently maintained the forward is not for sale, and are hoping a huge price tag will price clubs out of any deal.
Nkunku is said to prefer to stay at the Red Bull Arena, while Leipzig have also reportedly convinced him to sign a new contract. The new deal would see the club keep him for an extra year, and would include a release clause.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa are said to have no intention of letting Danny Ings go this summer. Recent reports had suggested the former Liverpool and Burnley striker had been offered to United.
Ings only joined Villa last summer from Southampton, but endured a tricky first season in the midlands, scoring just seven league goals in his first campaign with the club. With Steven Gerrard looking set to bring in a flood of new players, the striker’s future has been called into question.
United and Leeds were both reported to be interested. Sky Sports News claim, though, that Villa are not planning on selling Ings, with Gerrard looking to add more striking options to complement him.
