English Indie band Razorlight are coming to Dublin in 2023. The popular noughties group will play in the 3 Olympia on the April 5.
Johnny Borrell, Andy Burrows, Björn Ågren and Carl Delemo have reunited and are going on tour for the first time in over ten years. Back in 2009 drummer Burrows left the band, while Ågren and Delemo quit in 2011.
However they have now come back together and released a new album 'Razorwhat?' which features 11 of their best songs as well as two new tracks. The band has faced their share of disagreements over the years and the reunion was not necessarily an easy decision, admits band member Johnny Borrell. “My trust with Andy was at absolute zero," he said but "to get that back was really inspiring.”

Andy Burrows commented that he had to go to chat with Johnny and "make things good" after their rift. "If I didn’t, I’d have gone on thinking about it for the rest of my life, that we should’ve met up, we should’ve played together again, it was too special to leave behind.”
The reconciliation between the pair is the magic behind their new tracks. "Whilst our relationship hasn’t always been plain sailing, when Johnny and I sit down to write music together, there’s a magic that happens. I’m so grateful to have him and the band back in my life," says Burrows.
Their joint creativity resulted in single 'Call Me Junior' earlier this year, and the two new songs on 'Razorwhat?' show fans they are back with a bang.
