BENGALURU: Despite finishing third in the final U-21 snooker selection camp tournament, National champion Rayaan Razmi of Maharashtra still topped the overall charts (Nationals and points accrued in the two camps) at the KSBA hall here on Monday.
Kreishh Gurbaxani, who topped the final camp, Digvijay Kadian, Razmi and Sumer Mago finished with five wins apiece, and finished in that order based on frame average. However, all the four will represent the country in the IBSF World U-21 Snooker Championships in Bucharest, Romania, next month.
Likewise, in the girls’ section, Madhya Pradesh’s Ishika Shah took the honours in the final camp. However, she finished second behind overall topper Anupama R of Tamil Nadu. Anupama and Ishika will be joined in the World U-21 by Karnataka’s Keerthana P and Natasha Chethan, who finished third and fourth overall.
