Dolphins warhorse Tom Gilbert is on track to play his first game in a year and teammate Ray Stone has revealed why his ACL recovery has been a success despite rocky times.

Gilbert, 24, is expected to play the trial match against Gold Coast in Redcliffe on Saturday night, barring any hiccups this week.
