His match-winning haul read 12 wickets for 104 runs.

Trailing Saurashtra (271) by 83 runs, Delhi were bowled out for a mere 94 in their second innings -- leaving the hosts just 12 runs to score for a comprehensive win.

He had also contributed with a brisk knock of 38 runs.

It was Jadeja's first Ranji Trophy appearance since 2023, coming after a diktat by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding players' availability for their respective state teams when not on national duty.

The BCCI sprung into action with fresh directives on the do's and don'ts for Team India players, following the team's 1-3 defeat in the five-match Test series for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.
