The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran wide receiver Demarcus Robinson a few weeks ago in a move that already looks to be a solid one. The veteran suited up for the team’s final preseason game against the Washington Commanders, and put up an impressive stat line of four catches for 135 yards, including a 67-yard touchdown score on a beautiful double move.
After the game, Robinson was asked how much of the playbook he thinks he knows after signing earlier that week. He said that he knew enough to make a couple of plays, and as he gets more and more acclimated to the offense should be able to play a role in what the team does on that side of the ball.

“I don’t know. (laughter) I guess enough to go out there and make a couple plays. I’m not going to say I know everything, so I still have a lot of learning to do. But, I know enough to go out there and make a couple plays for sure.”
Robinson brings veteran experience to a young Baltimore receiver room as he’s played for five NFL seasons, all with the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s put up 145 catches for 1,679 yards and 14 touchdowns over the course of his professional career, excelling in contested catch situations while also having some deceptive speed.
The Ravens’ other wide receivers include players such as Rashod Bateman, Devin Duvernay and James Proche II. While each is talented, they don’t have the experience that Robinson does, and the team could rely on what the veteran has picked up over his time in the NFL early on, even though he’s only been with the team for a short time. He stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs around 205 pounds, so he can use his frame and ability to high point the football in a way that Baltimore could use, as they needed someone with that skillset on their roster. That could lead to snaps for Robinson, who the team looks to believe in already.
