After a disappointing effort, the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Although they should have won the Super Bowl, they couldn’t get the job done when it mattered.
The Ravens will open the 2024 season with a Week 1 matchup against the Chiefs in an AFC Championship rematch. When talking to the media, Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews said that it’s fun to look forward to playing Kansas City in Week 1, but he also acknowledged that he takes things one game at a time.
“It’s fun to be able to look forward to that. It’s a big game; it’s the first game of the year. I’m someone that … I take one game at a time. So, right now, it’s one practice at a time, and I’m focused on that right now. Obviously, it’s an exciting thing, and if it gets you going, it gets you going. But for me, it’s just day by day, getting better, helping this team get better and taking each practice to work on something to make us as well rounded as we can be.”
The Ravens can get some level of revenge on the Chiefs by beating them in Week 1, but the real revenge would come by defeating them in the playoffs. However, it would set a good tone for Baltimore if they can get the better of Kansas City to open up the season.
