The Baltimore Ravens put together an impressive 11-player rookie class during the 2022 NFL draft. They were able to secure talented players on both sides of the ball, using the best player available strategy while also drafting for need.
On Tuesday, Baltimore announced the jersey numbers of all of the players that the team drafted this past weekend, as well as a few veteran number changes. There were a few big storylines in which numbers were given to the rookies, as it signaled a few veterans might not be back with the team in 2022.

First-round pick Kyle Hamilton will continue to wear No. 14, just like he did at Notre Dame. Fellow first-rounder Tyler Linderbaum goes from jersey No. 65 in college to No. 64 in Baltimore.
With No. 98 going to defensive lineman Travis Jones, it seems likely that Brandon Williams will not be back in purple and black in 2022. The same can be said for cornerback Jimmy Smith and outside linebacker Pernell McPhee, who had their numbers given to Damarion Williams and David Ojabo, respectively. It will be exciting to see the rookies on the field and making an impact for the Ravens in 2022 and beyond, especially in their new jersey numbers.
