The last few press conferences that Baltimore Ravens’ general Manager Eric DeCosta spoke at, he was asked about inside linebacker Patrick Queen and his fifth-year option. He was non-committal at the time, but now we know the answer to the question.
Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reported that the Ravens will not pick up Queen’s fifth year option. That means, unless a trade can be made before the season starts, this is his last year in Baltimore before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2024.

Ravens declining Queen's option for '24 seemed likely even before they used 3rd rounder on Clemson ILB Trenton Simpson. They like Queen and he's gotten better every yr, but w/Roquan Smith on books at $20 mill per ($13.5 cap hit in '24), tough to commit so much to ILB position
