Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins tore his ACL in the final preseason game of 2021, ending his season before it began. He’s been working hard to make his return to the field, and has been practicing over the past few weeeks.
After Friday’s practice before the team’s Week 2 showdown against the Miami Dolphins, Dobbins talked about his desire to return to the field. He mentioned how it’s going to be a surreal feeling to step back on the field and play, especially in front of a full stadium.

“It’ll be a surreal feeling to get back out there after 13…12 months, I can’t remember the exact timeframe, but it’ll be great to get out there in front of a full stadium. I haven’t done that yet since I’ve been in Baltimore and I know that I’ll be feeling excited and hopefully the fans will be feeling excited as well.”
If Dobbins is able to return in Week 2 against Miami, he would provide a much-needed boost to the Baltimore ground game. He logged full practices throughout the week leading up to the contest, so it appears he has a very solid chance of making his 2022 debut this weekend.
