The Baltimore Ravens traveled to New England to take on the Patriots in Week 3, coming away with a 37-26 victory to bring their record to 2-1 on the season. Running back J.K. Dobbins returned to the Baltimore lineup for the first time in almost two years, carrying the ball seven times for 23 yards.
Dobbins spoke to the media following the contest, and shared how he felt being on the field for the first time in so long. He said that he’s blessed to be out there, but he made sure to let it be known that he’s ready to “do what I do”, classifying it as running for 100 yards.

“It felt great. [I’m] blessed to be back out there. I’m the type of guy that – yes, I got back out there, I’m blessed, [and] I’m happy about that, but now it’s time for me to try to do what I do. And that’s run for 100 yards and stuff like that.”
The Ravens’ plan with Dobbins is to seemingly ease him back into the lineup and increase his workload. However, after hearing Dobbins speak, it’s clear he wants to be out there for as much time as possible. Although he’s extremely competitive, the best course of action is for Dobbins to gradually ramp up, but he can certainly make the most of his early opportunities with his talent level.
