The Baltimore Ravens suffered a 13-3 defeat to the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 of the 2022 season. There are many reasons why the team ended up losing to their AFC North rival, with plenty of blame falling on the offense and their performance.
One of the stars of the game for Baltimore was running back J.K. Dobbins, who rushed 13 times for 125 yards on the day. Despite his stats, Dobbins talked about the loss and the frustration surrounding the offense, saying that it’s on the players and not the coaches.
“We are frustrated for sure. It is on us, though. It is not on the coach, and it is not on any of the coaches. It is on us. We have to score. Like I said, we have to make plays. We are not making the plays. We are not scoring touchdowns, and somebody has to score them. I take ownership in that, too, because I am not scoring the long ones whenever they are there. I have to do that. It is on me. I have to do that, and I have to be a sparkplug.”
Dobbins took accountability in a loss where he wasn’t anything close to a negative factor. The Ravens win as a team and lose as a team, but with the way their run game was dominating, the team should have likely stuck with in an attempt to have a different outcome.
