The Baltimore Ravens hosted AFC North rival Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 7 on Sunday. One player who had not played a regular season snap since the 2020 season scored his first touchdown in nearly two years.
With under two minutes left in the second quarter, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson handed the ball off to running back Gus Edwards. Edwards rushed up the middle and moved to the left side of the field while taking the football into the end zone for a seven-yard touchdown run.

The Ravens announced on Saturday that Edwards was removed off the physically unable to perform list. It was unclear how much work Edwards would see on Sunday, if any at all. But through the first two quarters of Sunday’s game, Edwards had 49 yards on ten carries and a touchdown. He has shared touches with running backs Justice Hill and Kenyan Drake with running back J.K. Dobbins placed on injured reserve on Saturday, which could mean plenty of work for Edwards moving forward.
Edwards later added his second touchdown of the day on a fourth-and-goal where he powered the ball into the end zone.
