The Baltimore Ravens drafted Zay Flowers with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. Quarterback Lamar Jackson expressed his excitement with the selection during his press conference following his signed contract with the team, and the two have a south Florida connection with it being where they grew up.
Flowers was asked about his discussions with Jackson, to which the rookie said he and the star quarterback might be able to throw when he goes home. He said the pair have talked about catching up as well, with Florida being an opportunity to do so.
