Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley has experienced plenty of ups and downs over the course of his NFL career. When healthy, he is one of the best linemen in the NFL, with multiple awards backing up his play, but health has been a major question mark for him ever since the turn of the decade.
Stanley had another injury-plagued season during the 2023 season, which saw him deal with knee issues on top of possible complications from his gruesome ankle injury years ago. Stanley opened up about his year, saying that it killed him to not play up to his potential while the rest of the team was playing so well.
“It was killing me. We may have been playing well, but it was really killing me on the inside just knowing that I wasn’t playing to my potential. That’s something that is harder for me to live with. But, moving on from last year, I feel very good about this upcoming season.”
Stanley mentioned feeling good about the 2024 season, which will be big for him in terms of his future in Baltimore. He recently adjusted his contract from having two years left on it to just one, meaning his performance could determine whether he stays with the Ravens long-term or not.
